The intervention consists of the completion works for the Southeastern Emissary Collector of the City of Palermo – Phase II, which is the main structure of the city’s sewerage system. The Southeastern Emissary Collector runs underground through the City of Palermo with a NW – SE alignment, from Via Uditore up to the Oreto River. It collects both stormwater and wastewater (acque bianche e nere) and ultimately conveys them to the Acqua dei Corsari purification plant. The project also includes the construction of related structures (drop shafts and connections) to link the collector with the city network, as well as the overflow structure on the Oreto River.
