The Venice Chamber of Commerce, previously located in the historic center, is constructing a new mainland headquarters within the Ca’ Foscari University Scientific Campus in Via Torino, Venice Mestre. This relocation aims to meet the Chamber’s needs and, in synergy with the university and research, to host the new Glass Experimental Station, which is set to become an international reference hub for sector experts. The buildings were constructed using a combination of steel and reinforced concrete and were dimensioned to guarantee specific resistance and load-bearing requirements, particularly for the activities of the Experimental Station. The new Chamber of Commerce headquarters will organize its spaces across several floors, including offices open and closed to the public, reception areas, meeting rooms, and representative and operational offices, ensuring finishes and amenities that combine comfort, practicality of use, management, and maintenance.
