PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The subsidized residential housing project is being built on a municipal area in the heart of the Navile district of Bologna. The building complex consists of a 4-5 story basement block (corpo basamentale) enclosing an internal courtyard and three towers rising to 11 stories, offering a total of 121 dwellings. The ground floor is dedicated to a semi-public space with porticoes, aiming to create continuity with the exterior.
The construction site, located within an already urbanized context, adopts measures for constant monitoring of noise and vibrations and operates in defined phases, complying with the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) to ensure sustainability. A distinctive element is the extensive use of greenery in the internal courtyard and on the roofs, which contributes to energy efficiency, pollution reduction, and the containment of stormwater runoff.
Aesthetically, the façades are characterized by a play of volumes with staggered balconies and a ventilated façade on the towers, clad in diamond-cut ceramic stoneware, which creates shifting chromatic effects.
