The project for the reconversion of the Imperia cycle-pedestrian path (referred to as “Periferie Urbane” – Urban Peripheries), is an urban regeneration initiative aimed at connecting and enhancing peripheral areas within the City.

The infrastructure, which transforms a disused area into a service for the community, extends along the coastal strip linking San Lorenzo al Mare with the two urban centers of Porto Maurizio and Oneglia (now part of the Municipality of Imperia).

The intervention also includes the adjacent Urban Park to the east (levante) and the remediation (bonifica) of two disused, degraded, and illegally occupied settlements.
