The project involves the adaptation and extension of a property on Via Pitagora in Martina Franca to create a new district and territorial social-health facility. The goal is to concentrate services, which are currently fragmented, into a single, organized center to improve the efficiency and quality of assistance provided to citizens. The intervention will take place on the area of the current “Former Tuberculosis Dispensary” (owned by the Local Health Authority – ASL), which will be demolished due to its insufficient spatial configuration. The new building, modern and regular in shape, will consist of a pilotis level and five above-ground floors, with a total gross floor area of approximately 1,890m², reaching a height equivalent to the surrounding residential buildings. The floors will have clearly defined functions: the pilotis level will house parking and technical rooms; the ground floor will be entirely dedicated to the CUP (Central Booking Office) and the Continuity of Care environments; the upper floors (first to fourth) will be allocated to district outpatient clinics, medical offices, administrative offices, and the Department of Prevention, also including a meeting room and break areas.
