The project includes the completion of reinforced concrete structures, civil works, final architectural works (finishes), electrical and mechanical systems not connected to the system, the line tunnel, and the related reinforcing concrete elements for the functional leg of Turin automatic underground between the Lingotto and the Bengasi stations.
The main contractor is CCC, who entrusted the works to the company Italia61 Scarl, consisting of Cmc (75%) and Consorzio PI (25%).
Reinforced concrete diaphragms, up to 40 m deep, obtained using a hydraulic tunnel boring machine, consolidation systems and shaft/station foundation underpinning using Ø2000 mm jet grouting pillars, consolidation of existing structures (sewers, buildings, road underpasses) by means of concrete injections.
Reinforced concrete structures construction of 2 passenger stations and 2 ventilation shafts, as well as of the so-called ‘terminal’ shaft in the municipality of Moncalieri, which will be used to extract the TBM and lower the materials.
Tunnel mechanical excavation of approximately 2 km with EPB TBM having an excavation diameter of 7.80 meters and lining with precast lining segments; Completion of reinforcing concrete
elements for reinforcement casting (not included in this contract).
Architectural works station and ventilation shafts floors and lining/paneling, surface works, and road system restoration.
The works also include the completion of station and line electrical and mechanical systems not connected to the train control system.
